Scheduled Maintenance: Saturday, January 7th, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

PeopleSoft CS and HR will be unavailable for approximately 4 to 6 hours. Several PeopleSoft functions will be unavailable during this window, including Student Center, student records, admissions, financial aid, academic advisement, class scheduling, HR Self-Service, payroll, absence entry/approvals, etc.

This maintenance is needed in order to install a new authentication provider that will support the upcoming Chico State mobile app.

PeopleSoft CFS (Financial System) will be unavailable for an extended maintenance window:

• Scheduled start: Friday, November 18, 2022 at 5:00 PM
• Scheduled end: Monday, November 21, 2022 at 9:00 AM
• Scheduled duration: 64 hours over 4 days

This will not impact other PeopleSoft services hosted in CS or HR, such as student records, admissions, class scheduling, or employee self-service.

This maintenance window is needed so that PeopleSoft CFS can be upgraded to Maintenance Pack 5, which provides the latest features and bug fixes.

Some PeopleSoft HR users are experiencing a flashing screen issue when signing in since the recent PeopleTools upgrade. Clearing your browser cache and restarting your computers should resolve this issue.

During the upcoming PeopleTools upgrade, some pages within PeopleSoft CS will be given a new look and feel.

What will change? Some pages within PeopleSoft CS will have updated navigation. You can see a preview of those changes in our knowledge base. Please note, the Student Center, Faculty Center, and PeopleSoft HR are not impacted by these changes. This new layout will only affect pages within PeopleSoft CS that are primarily used by staff, and by some faculty advisors.

When will the change occur? During the PeopleTools upgrade, over the weekend of September 9, 2022.

Why is this change needed? PeopleSoft must be updated to a new version of PeopleTools in order to stay current with the latest software updates; as part of that update, PeopleSoft CS needs to adopt this new layout.

PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS) and PeopleSoft Human Resources (HR) will both be unavailable for an extended maintenance window:

• Scheduled start: Friday, September 9, 2022 at 5:00 PM
• Scheduled finish: Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 6:00 PM
• Scheduled duration: 25 hours

This is necessary to install an updated version of PeopleTools.

During this maintenance students, faculty, and staff will be unable to access PeopleSoft CS/HR functions, such as student records, admissions, financial aid, academic advising, class scheduling, state employee job data, payroll, absence entry/approvals, or employee self-service.

• Scheduled start: Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:00 PM
• Scheduled end: Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:59 PM
• Duration: 6 hours

PeopleSoft will undergo an extended maintenance window in preparation for the launch of HighPoint Campus Experience, which is expected the following week. During the scheduled window, PeopleSoft may be unavailable to users. This includes the Student Center, Faculty Center, Absence Entry, Class Scheduling, and all other PeopleSoft functions.

About one third of PeopleSoft CS and HR sign in attempts are currently failing. Technicians are working to correct this issue. If you experience this problem close and re-open your browser, and try again.
